I have quite a bit of BSD and Linux administration experience, including LAMP configuration, Postfix/PostfixAdmin/Dovecot mail servers, and a working knowledge of MySQL. I've worked with FreeBSD, Ubuntu (10.04) and CentOS/RedHat primarily.
I also have experience with virtualization implementation with a focus on VMware vSphere environments. I am currently a VMware Certified Professional (VCP).I also have some experience with Red Hat's KVM based virtualization architecture with Virt-Manager.
I have experience with cloud computing infrastructure, administration and design, specifically VMware vCloud Director. Working OpenStack, Xenserver and Cloud.com in order to keep rounded. I've done some work with Amazon EC2, GoGrid, and Rackspace's implementation of OpenStack.
I have some networking experience with Cisco, mostly from a diagnostic and support perspective. Experience with pfSense, Fortigate and consumer grade network access devices.
I have set up some small SAN/NAS systems, iSCSI and NFS primarily. Experience with FreeNAS and NexentaStor. as well as some NetApp.
Programming experience with BASH scripting, Java, Perl, and Python. I have an AAS in Computer Programming, and studied JAVA, C++, VisualBasic and AS/400 Control Language.
